5-Star Review for Luxe Raw Burmese Curly Hair
I’ve purchased several bundles from Glam Affair, and the Luxe Raw Burmese Curly hair is hands down the best. I started buying it when Sevyn was promoting it, and I’ve had my bundles for about 3 years now. I’ve worn them off and on, styled them 3 or 4 different ways, and they’re still in amazing condition.
What I love most is that it doesn’t shed at all ,the curls stay beautiful, full, and bouncy. Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments. People always ask where I got my hair from!
This hair is absolutely worth the investment. Thank you, Glam Affair, and thank you, Sevyn!

Unfortunately, I have not received my hair order despite being provided with two separate delivery dates. I have requested cancellation of my order and a full refund, but it has been two days and I have yet to receive a response. The absence of communication is disappointing and unprofessional. If this issue is not addressed, I will have no choice but to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. I would not recommend this hair supplier to others.

I’ve ordered this hair before and these bundles do not feel like the same quality as the original ones. For one, the bundles had packaging that said “The Guru Collection” which I thought the brand was GAHC, but I understand it may have been previous branding. I’m not sure. The hair hunches up and tangles up in the nape like bad/synthetic hair does. I have to constantly brush it so it doesn’t tangle up. I’m so sad because I loved this hair the first time around. I’m not sure what kind of bundles I got this time but for the price I paid, I’m very disappointed. I’ve also only used the recommended products.

the hair was very beautiful and I loved the curl pattern. It blended very well with my natural hair. But it shedded so much! I had 4 bundles of the 30 inch raw Burmese. My hair didn’t last 7 months! It shedded so much and got super short so I started to Bantu knot it. I used the correct products and the right brush. I kept it moisturized and everything but it just didn’t last. I think the hair is well overpriced!

I’ll state the cons first. My cons are regarding the amount of hair you get per weft, and the fact that there is no longer a seamless clip-in option for this hair. I could’ve sworn there was but I could be wrong. I ordered a 20” bundle and a 22” bundle (because there was only one 20” bundle in stock at the time). I ordered two bundles figuring that would be enough for a flipover install. It was not, and so I had to use some old hair to fill in between.
I’m not used to a 20” bundle being within arms length, so I was a bit bummed when I saw how little hair was given. I am going to have to buy another 20” bundle eventually. The wefts are really thick, which, if you know what you’re doing, is a great thing. In the event that you would have to split the tracks, I’d say that the wefts are very well constructed for doing so (just make sure you seal after any cutting). However, this leads me to my next con.
Because of how big the hair could get, I would have really liked to have had this hair in a seamless clip-in option. Considering the amount of hair that you get per bundle, coupled with how thick and big the curls and wefts are, you run the risk of having a bulky or heavy install. I would have loved to have had more flexibility with this hair in a seamless clip-in option.
As for the pros, the hair is lovely. It’s soft and silky, even from the first touch out of the box. There were virtually no split ends and the hair just feels so luscious. I really love the juiciness of the ringlets after washing and conditioning. This is the first hair in a long time that actually matches my natural color. The hair air dries beautifully. I am a very minimal product girlie when it comes to my bundles, and I just love the fluffiness it has once it’s dried. Though it plays well with the old wefts I had to mix in, I definitely will purchase another bundle to replace them. This hair is going to be installed a few more times! Great investment and I’m glad I purchased. Still wishing for those clip-ins, though!

I love my hair! I got 2 bundles of the 14inch and it was enough for a full head sew in with no leave out.
The hair is soft and doesn’t smell fresh out of the pack. The only down side is that it takes a while for the hair to be delivered but I will still be ordering from this company again.

Curl pattern seems cute in its natural state at any length. A bit coarser and has more of a natural luster which is why I purchased. Wish it had a slightly smoother cuticle. Blows Out abs straightens moderately easy. Holds a curl and falls natural throughout the course of the day. Only needed 2 bundles and had some left over from the second one. Very full as you can see! Freshly installed so I still have to determine how smooth maintenance will be. Small tangling.

I would have loved it if the curls would have lasted longer than a day, but I will say with my curling iron maybe I just need to replace my old flat iron so I won’t blame the hair lol. I can only speak for myself but I’m seeing alot of negative reviews on this hair and that’s not the case! I actually had 3 installs with this hair. I only used two bundles and the hair is flawless! This third install I cut into a wavy bob and my hair is amazing. It’s wavy human hair so it absolutely needs good product for maintenance! You can just wet it and expect it to look moisturized the entire say. The curl holds very well! I wet, product, and go everyday! And it straightens very well also! Very very satisfied! I only did two bundles because I like sew ins to look natural and natural is exactly what I got with numerous people asking for the hair details! You have to take care of the hair the same way you would your own!!!

I love the idea of this hair.. I love the texture it's super thick and I've had a silk press but i prefer it in its natural state! HOWEVER the shedding is ridiculous I've used costly products on the hair! Used the right brushes etc and it seems to shed crazy amounts of hair when i go to brush it i don't see the hair lasting more the 1 yr with the shedding you will keep having to add bundles for the thickness!! I hope you send some care instructions for (this Luxe hair collection) bc for the amount of money it doesn't seem to be worth it!

Overall the the isn’t hard to manage, I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed. When straighten it isn’t silky at all. I thought it was the products I may have been using but after purchasing several products the hair just isn’t worth what I paid for. I really wish I have the same experience as the other reviews I read.

I hate to be the one, but i didn’t like this hair for the price and it being raw i didn’t get what I was looking for and it doesn’t seem like it will last that long. I do hair and use the same tools used in her TikTok videos n wasn’t able to get a silk press from the Burmese curly hair. My hair came extremely dry. Overall just didn’t feel worth the price. It shedded a lot while others claimed it didn’t shed but it’s expected to me being curly hair.

I actually hesitated to write this review. GAHC is a professional, high end hair supplier and stock is consistently low. But, that being said, I have to give props when props are due. This hair, this hair is sublime. The curls pop, shedding is minimal to none and the thickness of the weft is perfect. If you are concerned about the price, I have to say, it is worth every penny. What is pictured is the Luxe Raw Burmese Curly 20". I am 5'9 and the actual curls hit my bra line. The packaging is done with care and makes you feel like you received an exclusive gift from a Parisian boutique store. I have encountered so many hits or misses with hair, but I love the fact that there is a brick and mortar location if I need to ever speak to an actual person. This business owner has FINALLY provided an amazing product and does not stop short on visual presentation. Bravo!!!... and I will be ordering OFTEN!!

This hair is MAGIC ok! So first, it came super fast (YAY). Smelled amazing(YAY).
